The Lynx had an excellent win this past weekend at the 2024 Homecoming football game. The team was against Rapid City Central, also known as the Cobblers. Homecoming was filled with magnificent, encouraging cheers and fun coming primarily from those in the student section but also from others at the game. Many of the cheerleaders and dancers came to help lead the student section in their cheers as well.
During the first quarter Nolan Pudwill, number 17, made the first touchdown of the game. The second quarter is when things started to get going, and Landon Delaney, number 5, made two touchdowns along with Rylan Carroll, number 23, who made one touchdown.

BVHS Homecoming half-time performance
While half-time was going, the band played a joyous and inspiring show called Coursing Through My Veins, directed by Tyler Nettestad, Max Outland, Devon Melillo, Brady DeBelts, and Aubrey Lipetsky. The music was filled with all sorts of instruments that all went together in perfect unison. It was filled with many songs from all over the pop music industry. Their music and costumes made the show feel exciting, but also suspenseful. After the band made their way off the field, the dance team showed some moves with the cheerleaders showing off more cheers.
Once the football game resumed, Jack Blomgreen, number 84, ran a touchdown along with Gus Scott, number 3. Throughout the entire game, Shawn Schleicher, number 98, made all his kicks. Lastly, as the game was about to end, Camden Christen, number 34, made a final touchdown. The final score was an unbeatable 49 - 0.
