When the school year starts, it’s nice to get some advice to help you get back into the swing of things, as it’s very likely your schedule has been completely changed from summer. To combat this, I decided to interview Mrs. Stemwedel on tips that can help YOU get back to school!
The first question I asked was “What is some advice for kids coming from a summer schedule to get back into school’s schedule?”
Mrs. Stemwedel responded, “I’d say to make sure that they prepare their sleep schedule ahead of time so that they are well rested.”
I also asked how kids can stay organized, to which I was told that the best way to stay organized is to plan your day out, such as using a physical planner or digital planner (whatever works best for you). It is just important to find ways to organize the assignments and activities coming in.

Mrs. Stemwedel also advised, “Start the year with a positive attitude, and know that the amount of work you put in will be what you can get out of school.” When asked about how to stay ahead of school even when in sports, or other activities, she advised that the best way was to stay informed about upcoming events and assignments and let teachers know when you are going to be absent from school, prioritizing what needs to be done.

In conclusion, these are the best ways to get back to school this fall:
-
Prepare your sleep schedule
-
Find ways to organize your assignments
-
Start it with a positive attitude
-
Stay organized and communicate with teachers
